Needled cotton/polyester produces a sumptuous soft felt for the ultimate in luxury fillings. Our Cotton/Polyester Needled felt is finished in a pale cream colour making it ideal for applications such as linings or padding.

Needled Cotton

100% Cotton

Needled Polyester

Polyester felt is a synthetic needle punched felt made from 100% polyester fibres. Needled polyester comes in white and can be made in various densities & thicknesses. This material is commonly used for filtration applications, gaskets, wipers, and padding in a wide variety of industries. The polyester we use for our felt also can be dyed and printed as it takes ink well.

Needled Wool

Cowens Ltd’s pure needled wool felts are beautifully soft, yet keep their shape and loft with a firm spring which does not flatten. Ultra clean wool is double carded to remove all the trash and short fibres, leaving a pale cream felt which has a multitude of applications as filling, lining or padding. It’s naturally comfortable characteristics are well known, and at 500 gsm, will enable the wool mark to be used.

With a strength to enable robust furniture manufacturing practices to be employed, and a good thickness which is easy to work with, this premium felt is a pleasure to use.

Silk Felts

Needled pure silk fibre, in a polyester blend, produces a sumptuous soft felt for the ultimate in luxury fillings. A powerful marketing advantage in premium beds and upholstery, the felt is also a supremely comfortable material to lie on, keeping you cool in summer but warm in winter.

Needled Silk and Polyester blend with 14gsm pp backing. Heavier backing optional.
